Volkswagen has unveiled the latest addition to its Atlas lineup- the 2024 Atlas Peak Edition at the New York International Auto Show. This rugged trim line has unique interior and exterior features inspired by the impressive Atlas Basecamp Concept shown in 2019. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, this one is worth a second look. In this article, we'll take a closer look at the impressive new features and advanced technology that make the Atlas Peak Edition a stand-out SUV.
Let's dive into the unique features of the 2024 Atlas Peak Edition. This special edition SUV has been designed to look the part with body cladding elements, unique wheels, all-terrain tires, and black-out exterior details. However, the unique design elements are also functional, adding to the off-road capabilities of the vehicle. You can drive confidently, knowing that the Atlas Peak Edition can handle rough terrain and anything else you can throw at it.
The face of Peak Edition models immediately stands out from other Atlas trims with a rugged front fascia and underbody cladding in silver. The lower fascia features a gloss-black "X" design element that was borrowed from the Atlas Cross Sport. The blacked-out grille has two chrome strips that run on each side of the illuminated logo. The unique touches continue on the interior, which features a Titan Black leatherette, light grey accents and orange contrast stitching, and a black metallic check pattern on the dashboard and door inserts. Furthermore, the steering wheel clip bears the same logo as the exterior badging and ambient lighting with 30 colour choices is included.
Additionally, the 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Peak Edition features a large gloss-black badge on the front quarter panel with the Peak Edition logo in orange and chrome. Eighteen-inch black alloy wheels with 255/60 all-terrain tires are included for added versatility, along with rugged side sills in black and silver and black mirror caps, window surround, wheel arches, and roof rails. At the rear of the vehicle, a black tailgate strip meets up with a rugged black and silver diffuser with chrome exhaust bezels. Additionally, two new exterior colours - Avocado Green and Pure Grey - are exclusive to this trimline.
In summary, the 2024 Atlas Peak Edition is designed to be a rugged and capable SUV with impressive features and advanced technology. With its unique exterior design, luxurious interior amenities, and all-terrain tires, you can trust the Atlas Peak Edition to get you where you need to go off-road or on. The new trim line will arrive in showrooms later this year, so be sure to check it out and see if it's the vehicle for you.
