The 2025 ID.Buzz: Trims and Prices
Latest updates reveal that the latest version of the 7-seater ID.Buzz will be offered in three trims. You will have the option of drive type and seating capacity, depending on the selected trim.
- Pro S: solely rear-wheel drive and 7 seats
- Pro S Plus: the rear-wheel drive version is 7 seats (6 optional) and the all-wheel drive version is 6 seats (standard)
- ID Buzz 1st Edition: rear-wheel drive, 7 seats, or all-wheel drive, 6 seats
As for the price, Volkswagen Canada has not yet released anything official. However, we can expect a starting price around $50,000. A maximum MSRP of $65,000 has been set for the province.
Battery Performance for the VW ID.Buzz
A 91 kWh battery will power all three trims of the Volkswagen ID.Buzz — at a price soon to be revealed — and will provide between 282 to 335 horsepower.
As for the electric range, official information is not yet available. However, it is expected to be over 400 km.
For reference, the 2024 ID Buzz offered an electric range of 415 km.
2025 ID.Buzz: Interior and Exterior Design
The exterior design of this iconic electric VW van is decidedly modern while retaining the charm of vintage VW vans.
Color options include lovely pastel shades reminiscent of the 60s Microbus and several two-tone color options, including a white roof ("Candy White") and vibrant contrasting colors (energetic orange, pomelo yellow, mahi green, etc.)
As for the interior design, it is clear that we are in a modern vehicle since it includes a host of technologies such as digital and touch screens, and colorful ambient lighting options.
Capacity and Dimensions for the ID.Buzz
The latest model year of the Volkswagen Buzz — available in 2025 — will delight enthusiasts in our province, as VW has developed a version specifically designed for North America!
With a length approximately 60 cm longer than the original, it also surpasses the European two-row model by 25.4 cm! It also offers a wheelbase that is significantly longer than many vans currently available on the market (3.24 meters).
