An electric SUV of ID.4's stature deserves wheels that complement its robust frame. Fortunately, the ID.4 is equipped as standard with 19” Drammen wheels, designed to optimize its performance. For those who desire a more commanding presence on the road, an upgrade to 20” wheels is available. The ID.4 offers an optional expansive panoramic glass roof, illuminating the interior and granting a sweeping view of the sky above. Exhilarating Electric Performance
The 2024 Volkswagen ID.4 provides owners with the perfect blend of performance, charging capability, and range. Capable of reaching 100 km/h quicker than many high-end performance cars, the new ID.4 also gives you over 400 kilometres of all-electric freedom in most versions. And with this power sent to all four wheels in AWD versions, the ID.4 can be enjoyed regardless of the weather outside.
The moment you press the pedal, the ID.4 delivers immediate torque, providing swift acceleration; with the all-wheel drive feature, the ID.4 PRO model can go from 0 to 100 km/h in under 6 seconds. It operates in silence but is adept at achieving remarkable vehicular feats—all without emitting a single carbon particle.
Propelling the electric motor of the new VW SUV in the PRO and PRO AWD models is an advanced 82-kWh lithium-ion battery. A newly introduced, more affordable model in 2023 is powered by a 62-kWh battery. The ID.4 boasts a projected range of 336 kilometers for the base model, 443 kilometers for the ID.4 PRO, and 410 kilometers for the ID.4 PRO AWD.
The Volkswagen ID.4 gains up to 100 km of range in just 10 minutes when connected to a speedy DC charging station.
Thanks to Volkswagen's partnership with Electrify Canada, you can enjoy these ten-minute top-ups unlimitedly for three years—at no extra cost! For home charging solutions, a 240 V household charge can fully recharge your electric Volkswagen in 7.5 hours.
A standard feature in all Canadian models, the heat pump efficiently warms the cabin, surpassing conventional resistive heating systems while ensuring longer battery life by conserving energy, maintaining optimal range even in the chilliest winter conditions.
The ID.4 defies electric vehicle stereotypes with its impressive strength; when equipped with all-wheel drive and supplied with a standard trailer hitch, it can tow up to 2,700 lbs.
The SUV, with its 858 L trunk, accommodates the luggage needs of the entire family and more. Folding the seats reveals a generous total cargo volume of 1,818 L.
The incorporation of regenerative braking enables the battery to recuperate some of its energy, allowing for extended journeys.
The optional all-wheel drive augments performance by adding a second electric motor to the front wheels, delivering an exhilarating 295 horsepower—all without consuming a drop of gasoline.

Within the ID.4, a smart light bar spans the dashboard, known as the ID. Light. This feature employs intuitive lighting signals to indicate various notifications such as incoming calls, brake alerts, charging status, and more.
